Section 1 — Introduction22Keypad EntryYou can create keypad entries to define process input values such ascurrent or flow rates. You can enter process input values manually usingthe keypad (instead of attaching a sensor to your machine). You canthen transfer the data you have collected to your computer, along withyour normal measurements.If you include keypad entries in a route, your instrument will prompt youto enter values at specific points along the route. Keypad entries canalso be used as onscreen reminders to perform machine checks (e.g. forchecking temperature and pressure).To collect and record entries using the keypad:1. Create keypad entries as part of a recording route.2. Transfer your entries to your instrument.3. Enter the values for each keypad entry item (when prompted to doso by your instrument).4. Transfer the values and recordings you have collected to yourcomputer for analysis.> >
