49Heating food9 WARNINGRisk of scaldingThere is a possibility of delayed boiling when aliquid is heated. This means that the liquidreaches boiling temperature without the usualsteam bubbles rising to the surface. Even if thecontainer only vibrates a little, the hot liquidmay suddenly boil over and spatter. Whenheating liquids, always place a glass rod/spoonin the container. This will prevent delayedboiling.9 CAUTIONMetal e.g. a spoon in a glass must be kept atleast 1” (25 mm) from the oven walls and theinside of the door. Sparks could irreparablydamage the glass on the inside of the door.Notes‒ Take ready meals out of the packaging. They willheat up more quickly and evenly in microwavablecookware.
