Select the desired altitude volume byselecting the the BELOW, NORMAL, ABOVE, orUNREST (unrestricted) Softkey. The selection isdisplayed in the Altitude Mode field.4) Select the MUTE Softkey to mute aural alerts forcurrently displayed Traffic Advisories. Aural alertswill again be heard when a new Traffic Advisory isissued. Selecting the MUTE Softkey twice will replaythe aural alerts for any currently displayed TrafficAdvisories.5) Rotate the Joystick clockwise to display a largerarea or rotate counter-clockwise to display a smallerarea.Traffic, Out ofRangeProximity Traffic,1000’ above &descendingTraffic ModeFigure 10-12 Traffic Map Page“Non-Bearing” Traffic (systemis unable to determine bearing),distance is 8.0 nm, 1190’ aboveand descendingTraffic Advisory,aircraft is 400’ below& climbingAltitude ModeDisplaying Traffic on the Navigation Map1) Ensure the TAS system is operating.
