The Airport Chart items arenot available with FliteCharts.Custom Map page with ChartView loaded and Menu Items(Page 1)From either the Custom Map or the IFR En RouteMap, airport surface charts will automatically beloaded and displayed as an overlay if the followingconditions are met:• The airport surface chart is within the loadeddatabase• The airport surface chart is geo-referenced byJeppesen• Airport Chart menu layer is turned on• The aircraft position is within the coverage of thechart• A loaded approach chart is not being “flown”If an airport diagram is available in both the Safe-Taxi and ChartView databases and the Airport Chartoption is enabled, the ChartView airport chart willbe displayed. The SafeTaxi airport diagram will be dis-played if the Airport Chart option is disabled.terrainThe Terrain option allows you select the display oftopographical features. Pressing the MENU ITEM keynext to the Terrain option scrolls between sectional(absolute), terrain awareness (relative), or no displayof topographical features. The sectional (absolute)display shows a display similar to a sectional map.The terrain awareness (relative) display shows a colorcoded view where the colors relate to terrain elevationrelative to your altitude.Custom Map page with Terrain and Menu Items (Page 4)For more information about the terrain awarenessoption, see the Terrain function section. When youturn the Terrain feature off, the background is eitherblack or white depending on your selection in theInvert option. When no terrain data is available, themissing areas will be shown in light blue. Water willnot be shown in relative mode. Review the Limitationssection in the front of this guide.
