This code entered into the GMX 200 does NOTcontrol the code on Mode A, C, or S transponders.ServicesThe Services option allows emergency/servicecodes to be sent over the data-link radio. Whenpressed, a list of standard emergency/service codeswill be presented. The desired emergency/service codecan be selected and broadcast by pressing the Trans(Transmit) “smart” key or cancelled by pressing theCancel “smart key.” When an emergency/service codeis being transmitted, the Services menu option keylabel is illuminated. To terminate the broadcast, pressthe Services key again. Three of the emergency/ser-vice codes temporarily change the ADS-B code value.Once the emergency/service code is terminated, theADS-B code will revert back to the previously setADS-B code. The pathof the traffic is shown by the line extending from thepoint on the end of the traffic arrow icon. The end ofthe line shows the point where the traffic item will beat the end of the selected time interval. Select 1, 1.5,2-5, or 10 minutes with each press of the Time key.traffic Altitude FilterFor ADS-B equipped installs, an altitude filterallows targets that are outside of a ±2000 foot verticalrange to be filtered off the display.This option is controlled via the Traffic FunctionMenu and causes the on-screen mode to change from“ALL” to “±2000” in the upper left of the Traffic Func-tion screen.In the “ALL” mode, all targets, regardless of their
