While the point is often defined by an intersection in the navigationdatabase, this is not always the case. The Create User Waypoint function allowsyou to define the new intersection and insert it into the flight plan in advance, asopposed to using the NAV radio to tune each VOR and specify the radials to flyinbound and outbound.Create and store up to 1,000 user defined waypoints.Access this page from one of two places:• Waypoint Info page• Map pageTapping any location on the map that is not a existingwaypoint displays the Create Waypoint access key.Assign a unique identifier or keep the unit generatedidentifier. By default, the identifier format is “USR”followed by a sequential three digit number.
