It indicates your current speed and records manyhelpful statistics about your trip.Be certain to reset the trip information (data) before beginning atrip. If you make frequent stops, leave the Trail Guide poweredon in order to receive satellites. This allows the unit to accuratelymeasure elapsed time during the trip.Indicates the unit is connectedto an external power source andis being chargedIndicates the unit is connectedto an external power source andis fully chargedTrip Information PageTo reset the trip data or the maximum speed:1. Press Page to open the Trip Information page.2. Highlight the Trip or Max buttons and press OK. A messageappears asking if you want to reset the data.3. Highlight Yes and press OK. The data is reset.To change the data fields:1. Press Page to open the Trip Information page and thenpress the MENU key.2. Highlight Edit Fields and press OK. A field in the first row,first column is highlighted, indicating that it can be changed.3. Use the Rocker pad to highlight the field you want tochange. Press OK to display a list of field choices. Highlightthe appropriate choice and press OK.4. Repeat Step 3 until you have finished changing the fields.Then press Page .
