16ReferenceUsing theFind FeatureYou can locate Personal Waypoints, Cities, andInterstate Exits included in the eMap basemap. If you areusing a data cartridge with MetroGuide map data, youcan also locate Points of Interest, Addresses and Intersec-tions. If no map cartridge is installed the last three optionswill appear gray.Using the Find Feature to Locate a WaypointOnce you have created and saved a waypoint it willbe stored on the Waypoints List in the Find FeatureMenu.To locate a waypoint:1. Press the FIND key to display the Find FeatureMenu.2. If you want to select a waypoint from the list ofNearest Waypoints, press the MENU key to pop-upthe waypoints option window. Highlight FindNearest and press the ENTER key to display the listof Nearest Waypoints. Scroll down the list until thewaypoint you desire is highlighted, then press theENTER key.3. Highlight the Waypoints option and press theENTER key to display the Waypoints by Name List.If you know the name or number of the waypoint,you can press ENTER to highlight the first characterin the name field at the top of the page and enterthe first character of the waypoint name, addingcharacters until the waypoint you desire isdisplayed. The distance to the waypoint from yourpresent position is displayed in the field at thebottom of the page. Press the ENTER key todisplay the waypoint page.The Waypoint Page offers four options: you can editinformation on the page, you can delete the waypoint,you can view the waypoint on the Map Page, and you canGoto the waypoint.
