21ReferenceUsing theMain MenuThe eMap’s Main Menu provides access to the TripComputer Page, the Routes Page, the Tracks Page, GPSInformation Page, and the Setup Options Files. The MainMenu can be accessed using the MENU key.To display the Main Menu, press the MENUkey twice.There are seven menu options: Trip Computer,Routes, Tracks, GPS Information, MapSource Informa-tion, System Information, and System Setup (a group ofthree tab indexed pages). The icons at the bottom of thepage provide information about backlighting status (lamplit or unlit), and power usage (a battery with a gray fillthat indicates battery capacity or power cord plug forexternal power use).To select a Main Menu option, highlight thedesired item and press ENTER.About the Trip ComputerThe Trip Computer page provides you with currentreadouts for: Trip Odometer, Stopped Time, MovingAverage Speed, Moving Time, Overall Average Speed,Total Traveling Time, Maximum Speed, and a totaldistance Odometer. The Trip Computer Option Menuallows you to reset the Maximum Speed, Trip Odometer,and the total distance Odometer.To reset trip computer readouts:1. Press the MENU key with the Trip Computer Pagedisplayed to “pop-up” the options list.2. Highlight the desired reset option and press ENTER.You will be returned to the Trip Computer page withthe chosen option reset.TheTrip ComputerThe Main Menu lists sevenprogram options.The Trip Computer Pageprovides information abouttime and speed.There are three reset options.Battery Capacity Icon
