50 IBM® xSeries 150: Installation Guideb. General Purpose Functionality. The Product may contain services andfunctionality of a general-purpose server. Notwithstanding that software forsuch services and functionality may be included as part of the Product, youagree not to use the following general-purpose functionality.• File Services, (accessing or managing files or disk storage)• Print Services, (printing to a printer managed by the Product)• Terminal Services, except to the limited extent necessary to administerthe Product in Administration Mode, on the xSeries 150 or remotely, forup to two connections;• Microsoft Clustering Service, other than the Windows Load BalancingService;• Network Infrastructure Services, including without limitationDynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) services, Domain NameSystem (DNS) service, Routing and Remote Access Service or WindowsInternet Name Service (WINS);and• Authentication Services, including but not limited to direct use of theProduct or indirect use through other computers or servers of: (i)domain controller (DCPromo.exe) functionality, (ii) the Windows NTServer or Windows 2000 Server Integrated Sign-On Service or (iii) theProduct to receive credentials from the Windows NT Server or Windows2000 Directory Services.If you wish to make use of such functionality, you must acquire licenses forWindows 2000 Server or Windows 2000 Advanced Server.c. Client Access License ("CAL") Requirements. You must acquire a separateCAL for each electronic device that accesses or makes use of AuthenticationServices.d. Deploying CALs. You may deploy CALs for the Product only in "Per Seat"mode. In "Per Seat," you need a separate CAL for each unique electronicdevice that accesses or utilizes the Server Software, as described in Section1.d. above.e. Other Rights and Limitations.• Language Version Selection. Manufacturer may have elected to provideyou with a selection of language versions of the Product. In such event,you are licensed to use only one of the language versions provided. Aspart of the setup process for the Product you will be given a one-timeoption to select a language version. Upon selection, the languageversion selected by you will be set up on the xSeries 150, and thelanguage version(s) not selected by you will be automatically andpermanently deleted from the hard disk of the xSeries 150.• Single EULA. The package for the Product may contain multipleversions of this EULA, such as multiple translations and/or multiplemedia versions (e.g., in the user documentation and in the software). Inthis case, you are only licensed to use one (1) copy of the Product.• Dual-Media Product. You may receive the Product in more than onemedium. Regardless of the type or size of medium you receive, you mayuse only one medium that is appropriate for the xSeries 150. You maynot use or install the other medium on another computer. You may notloan, rent, lease, lend or otherwise transfer the other medium to anotheruser, except as part of the permanent transfer (as provided below) of theProduct, or as part of Authorized Web Hosting.
