FLEX-BX100-ULT5Page 92WARNING:The precautions outlined in this chapter should be strictly followed.Failure to follow these precautions may result in permanent damage tothe FLEX-BX100-ULT5.B.1 Safety PrecautionsPlease follow the safety precautions outlined in the sections that follow:B.1.1 General Safety PrecautionsPlease ensure the following safety precautions are adhered to at all times. Follow the electrostatic precautions outlined below whenever the device isopened. Make sure the power is turned off and the power cord is disconnectedwhenever the FLEX-BX100-ULT5 is being installed, moved or modified. To prevent the risk of electric shock, make sure power cord isunplugged from wall socket. To fully disengage the power to the unit,please disconnect the power cord from the power outlet. Refer servicing toqualified service personnel. The power outlet shall be readily available andaccessible. Do not apply voltage levels that exceed the specified voltage range.Doing so may cause fire and/or an electrical shock. Use a power cord thatmatches the voltage of the power outlet, which has been approved andcomplies with the safety standard of your particular country. Electric shocks can occur if the FLEX-BX100-ULT5 chassis is opened whenit is running. To avoid risk of electric shock, this device must only beconnected to a supply mains with protective earth. Do not drop or insert any objects into the ventilation openings of theFLEX-BX100-ULT5.
