m@ DTMF memory operation© Programming a DTMF codeThe transceiver has 5 DTMF memory channels (D1 to D6) forstorage of often-used DTMF codes of up to 30 digits.@® Push [FUNC] + [(H/L)DTMF] to enter DTIMF memory mode.@ Rotate [DIAL] to select the desired channel.@ Push [FUNC] + [©SET] to enter DTMF programming mode.* Programmed memories can be cleared in this way.@ Push digit keys to enter the desired DTMF code.* A maximum of 30 digits can be input.+ If a digit is mistakenly input, push [MR] then repeat from step @.® Push [(H/.)DTMF] to input the digits.© Push [(vFo)CLR] to exit DTMF programming mode.Transmitting a DTMF code@ Select the DTMF channel to be transmitted:‘> Push [FUNC] + [(H/L)DTMF] to select DTMF memory mode.‘» Rotate [DIAL] to select the desired DTMF channel.® Push [(vFo)CLR] to exit.@ While pushing [PTT] push [(H/L)DTMF] to transmit the pre-viously selected DTMF channel's contents.ADVANCED FUNCTIONS 4Vv CONVENIENTMonitoring a DTMF code: While in DTMF memory mode,push [(H/L)DTMF] to monitor the selected DTMF channel with-out transmitting it.Confirming a DTMF code’s contents: While in DIMF mem-ory mode, push the [A]/[V] keys to scroll the displayed digits6 characters to the right or left, respectively.© DTMF transmit speed « POWER ONWhen slow DTMF transmission speeds are required (such asfor some repeaters) the transceiver's rate of DTMF transmis-sion can be adjusted.@While pushing [®SET] push[POWER] for 0.5 sec. to enter ini- { 41] HTtial set mode.@® Push [A] or [V] until “DT” appearsin the display.@ Rotate [DIAL] to select the desiredtransmission speed.*4 speeds are available: “100” beingthe fastest and “500” being the slow-est. slowest@ Push [(vFo)CLR] to set the condition and exit initial setmode.8|
