4 ADVANCED FUNCTIONS© Frequency skip functionWhen you want to skip undesired signals that inconvenientlypause full or programmed scan, the frequency skip functionis available.Push [FUNC] + [(mA)MW] while scan is paused on an unde-sired signal. The frequency is programmed into the highestnon-programmed memory channel as a skip frequency. Skipfrequencies are subsequently “skipped” during scanning.Z NOTE: When the frequency skip function is turned OFF,Z pushing [FUNC] + [(mR)MW] while scan is paused on aZ signal overwrites the frequency as a regular memory(, channel.SSS© Frequency skip function ON/OFF = SETMODE@® Push [FUNC] + [®SET] to enterset mode.® Push [V] or [A] one or more timesuntil “PS” appears.* “SKIP” also appears.@ Rotate [DIAL] to turn programmedskip scan ON or OFF.*When selecting “ON,” programmedskip scan is activated for full or pro-grammedscan and “SKIP” appears and flashes during scanning.@ Push [(vFo)CLR] to set the condition and to exit set mode.© Scan resume condition vswo SETMODEThe resume condition can be selected as a pause or timerscan.
