LT-200CL126. Functions and Operation6.1. Basic functionsThe LT-200CL is built around three high-performance CMOS line scan image sensorsmounted on a prism block, as illustrated in Figure 8.Sensor interfaceProcess circuitsAuto blackDSNU correctionPRNU correctionShading correctionGainLine matrixUser black setupDigital binningCamera link interfaceCamera linkB a s e &M e d i u mFig.8 Sensor block diagramThe incoming light is divided into three primary colors, Red, Blue and Green andtransmitted to each sensor. The output from each sensor is LVDS and it is converted toparallel digital signals in the sensor interface. Each signal then is transmitted toprocessing circuits which manipulate in the necessary characteristics and output via theCamera Link interface. The functions in the processing circuits are described in thefollowing sections.6.2. Sensor layout and output timingThe LT-200CL uses newly developed CMOS sensors which have 2048 effective pixels. Lightreceived on photodiodes is converted to electronic signals and these signals are handledin a correlated double sampling circuit, analog gain circuit and analog digital convertercircuit. After that, digital signals are serialized and output. All those circuits are insidethe sensor package. CMOS sensors can provide higher rates and lower power consumptionthan CCDs of equivalent resolution.・・・・TP : Tr ans i t i on Pi xel sAP : Act i ve Pi xel sOB : Opt i cal Bl ack Pi xel sI s o : I s ol at i on St ages・ ・ ・ ・CDS, PGA, ADCDi gi t al Pr oces s orPDO<0>PDO<1>PDO<2>Ser i al i zerTt r ans f er _dat aOB0OB2OB3OB4OB5OB6OB72048OB8OB9OB10OB11OB12OB13OB14OB15Opt i cal bl ack Opt i cal bl ack884802544Fig.9 Sensor layout
