12Adjusting Clearance between Fence and TableReferring to Figures 13 and 14:Check the clearance between the table and thefence. The fence should not rub against the tablesurface but be slightly above it. This gap should bethe same at the front of the table as it is at the rear.If the gap between fence and table is notconsistent, loosen either of the hex nuts on thehook (Figure 14) and rotate the sliding pad until thefence/table gap is consistent across the full lengthof the table. When this is achieved, tighten bothhex nuts.Check the adjustment of the hook at the rear of thefence. The hook should be positioned so that itoverlaps the rear rail by approximately 1/8”(Figure 14). To adjust the hook, loosen the upperhex nut and slide the hook in or out as needed. Re-tighten upper hex nut.Resaw GuideFor resawing attach the post (A, Figure 15) to thefence with the lock knob (B, Figure 15). There is aslotted hole in the fence that will accommodate theresaw kit. Position the post so that it is centeredwith the front edge of the blade. The resaw guidewill give you a taller, single point contact surfaceduring resawing.Miter Gauge1. Place the miter gauge in the table slot.2. With a square verify the miter gauge face issquare to the blade.3. If the miter gauge is not square to the bladeloosen the lock knob (C, Figure 15) and adjustto the proper setting. Tighten the lock knob.4. If the pointer is not at 90 degrees, loosen thescrew (D, Figure 15) holding the pointer andmove the pointer to 90 degrees.5. Re-tighten the screw.AdjustmentsTable Tilt1. Disconnect machine from power source.2. Loosen the lock knobs (G, Figure 16).3. Tilt table up to 45 degrees to the right, or up to10 degrees to the left.4. Tighten the lock knobs.Note: Table stop bolt (F, Figure 16) must beremoved to tilt table to the left.Figure 13Figure 14Figure 15Figure 16
