Picture Control, Sleep Timer 19Picture ControlThe TV/DVD’s picture controls are preset to factory specifi-cations.You may make adjustments for a natural image.1 Press PICTURE so the first picture control appearsat the bottom of the screen.2 Within five seconds, press K or L to selectBRIGHT, SHARPNESS,TINT, COLOR, or CONTRAST.3 Within five seconds, press B or s to adjust theitem.s BBRIGHT decrease add whitebrightness to pictureSHARPNESS make soft make clearTINT add blue add yellowCOLOR make picture brightenblack/white colorCONTRAST blur distinction more contrastbetween black between blackand white and white• Degaussing: Magnetism fromnearby appliances and speakersmight affect the color. Move theTV/DVD away from the appliance. Ifthe color is still not correct, discon-nect the TV/DVD’s power cord fromthe AC outlet; reconnect it after 30minutes.• The TV/DVD keeps the picture set-tings after a power failure.A powerfailure will cancel the sleep timer.• To see how much time remainsbefore the TV/DVD turns itself off,press SLEEP once.The informationwill disappear in 10 seconds.Helpful Hints2-31SHARPNESSSleep TimerUse the Sleep Timer to program the TV/DVD to shut off in acertain amount of time.1 Press SLEEP until your desired amount oftime appears on the screen with SLEEP.Each press of SLEEP will increase the time by 30 min-utes.You may set a Sleep Timer of 30, 60, 90, or 120minutes.After 10 seconds, the Sleep Timer information willdisappear from the screen.The TV/DVD will turn itself off after the selectedamount of time passes.2 To cancel the Sleep Timer, press SLEEP until“SLEEP 0 MINUTE” appears.1-2SLEEP 120 MINUTE20MC4204 04.2.25 9:33 PM Page 19 PreviousNext |
