Markers 31Use Markers to remember your favorite places on an AudioCD or DVD.To set the Markers, follow these steps.1 Play the Disc to within 30 seconds prior to the pointat which you want to set the Marker. During play,press SEARCH MODE until the Markersappear at the top of the TV screen.DVD example2 Within 30 seconds, press s or B to select aMarker (1-10). Make sure _ _ _ _ : _ _ : _ _appears beneath the number.3 Let the Disc play to the point at which youwant to set the Marker (up to 30 secondsaway).When the Disc reaches the point you want toremember, press ENTER. The Title number andelapsed playing time (DVD) or Track number and itselapsed playing time (Audio CD) will appear.A checkmark will replace the Marker number.The Marker display will disappear in about 30seconds, or press SEARCH MODE again to removethe Marker display.DVD example Audio CD example4 To return to a Marker during play, pressSEARCH MODE until you see the Markers.Press s or B to choose the Marker you want(a checkmark), then press ENTER. Disc play willcontinue from the marked point.• Opening the disc tray or turningoff the TV/DVD will erase all theMarkers.• To erase a single Marker, pressSEARCH MODE until you seethe Markers. Presss orB toselect a Marker (a checkmark).Press CLEAR. Press SEARCHMODE to remove the display.• To erase all the Markers, pressSEARCH MODE until you seethe Markers.
