2-4 Setting System ParametersHOW TO USE SETUPThe Setup utility has a Main Menu window and fivetop-level menus with submenus.The Main Menu window contains the following areas:n A title line — the top line of the Main Menu. This linedisplays the Setup utility name and copyright message.n The menu bar — the line under the Setup title line. Themenu bar contains five top-level menus that you canchoose to set system parameters.n A Main Menu summary window — the center area onthe left side of the screen. This area provides a summaryof Main Menu Setup parameters. You can set someMain Menu parameters directly from this window oryou can set them from the Main menu option in thelegend bar.n The Field Help window or Item Specific Help — thearea on the right side of the screen. This help areaprovides help information for the Setup option currentlyselected.n The legend bar — the area at the bottom of the screen.The legend bar provides a summary of command keysfor using Setup.n The General Help window — a window that appearsany time during Setup when you press F1 or Alt H. Thishelp window provides two pages of general informationabout using Setup.The following sections describe how to use the Main Menuwindow to set system parameters.
