12-1HP700/92 Emulation12HP700/92 EmulationThis chapter describes features of the Hewlett Packard 700/92 terminalemulation.IntroductionThe emulation of the Hewlett Packard 700/92 terminal is entered by displaying theEmulation Settings dialog box from the Settings menu and setting the AlphaEmulation option to HP70092. Clicking Ok will close the dialog box and TeemTalkwill be in HP700/92 mode, as indicated by the following row of buttons displayedalong the bottom of the window.These buttons indicate the current function of keys F1 through F8 on the keyboardand are described in the Buttons & Function Keys section following the keyboardmapping illustrations overleaf. The two numbers in the middle button indicate thecurrent line and column position of the cursor. The display area is 80 columns wideby 24 lines deep by default, and 72 lines are stored off-screen. You can togglebetween 80 and 132 column display by pressing the function key F12.The HP700/92 emulation is configured for host communications via the HP70092Settings dialog box which is described in the Setup Menus chapter.The following sections provide information on keyboard mapping, how to use the on-screen buttons and equivalent function keys, programming keys, and how to specifycharacter display attributes.Keyboard MappingThe following illustrations show where HP700/92 keyboard functions are mapped tokeys on the Enhanced AT, Sun 5, Sun 4 and HP 9000 series keyboard layouts.
