66Use RADIUS ServerRADIUS servers allow external authentication of users by means of a remote authentica-tion database. The remote authentication database is maintained by a Remote Authentica-tion Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) server. In conjunction with Wireless User Authentication,you can use a RADIUS server database to authenticate users seeking access to the wire-less services, as well as the authorized user list maintained locally within the Gateway.If you click theRADIUS link, the screen expands to allow you to enter your RADIUS serverinformation.• RADIUS Server Addr/Name: The default RADIUS server name or IP address that youwant to use.• RADIUS Server Secret: The RADIUS secret key used by this server. The shared secretshould have the same characteristics as a normal password.• RADIUS Server Port: The port on which the RADIUS server is listening, typically, thedefault 1812.Click theSubmit button.You can also configure alternate RADIUS servers from the Advanced Network Configurationpage, by clicking theAdvanced link.
