No icon is displayed when Single is selected.B Notes About Continuous Shooting• When a setting other than Single is selected, flash cannot be used. Focus, exposure, and whitebalance are fixed at the values determined with the first image in each series.• It may take some time to save the images after shooting. The amount of time it takes to finishsaving the images depends on the number of images, image mode, the write speed of thememory card, etc.• When ISO sensitivity increases, noise may appear in captured images.• The frame rate with continuous shooting may vary depending upon the current image modesetting, the memory card used, or shooting condition.• When Continuous is set to Pre-shooting cache, Continuous H: 120 fps, Continuous H:60 fps, or Multi-shot 16, banding or variance in brightness or hue may occur in images that werecaptured under lighting that flickers at high speeds, such as fluorescent, mercury-vapor, orsodium-vapor lighting.• Some settings cannot be used with other functions (A71).B Notes About BSSBSS is suited for shooting stationary subjects. BSS may not produce the desired results if the subjectmoves or the composition changes.D BSS(Best Shot Selector)The “Best Shot Selector” is recommended when shooting withthe flash off or the camera zoomed in, or in other situations inwhich inadvertent motion can result in blurred images. WhenBSS is on, the camera takes up to ten pictures while the shutter-release button is held down.
