● Both the sender and recipient are registered to theUMTS network. If you invite someone to a sharingsession and the recipient’s device is not within UMTSnetwork coverage or does not have video sharinginstalled or person-to-person connections set up, therecipient does not receive invitations. You receive anerror message that indicates that the recipient cannotaccept the invitation.SettingsTo set up video sharing, you need person-to-person andUMTS connection settings.Person-to-person connection settingsA person-to-person connection is also known as a SessionInitiation Protocol (SIP) connection. The SIP profilesettings must be configured in your device before you canuse video sharing. Ask your service provider for the SIPprofile settings, and save them to your device. Your serviceprovider may send you the settings or give you a list ofthe needed parameters.To add a SIP address to a contact:1. Select Menu > Contacts.2. Open the contact or create a new contact.3. Select Options > Edit.4. Select Options > Add detail > Share video.5. Enter the SIP address in the formatusername@domainname (you can use an IP addressinstead of a domain name).If you do not know the SIP address for the contact, youcan use the phone number of the recipient, includingthe country code, to share video (if supported by thenetwork service provider).UMTS connection settingsTo set up your UMTS connection:● Contact your service provider to establish anagreement for you to use the UMTS network.● Ensure that the UMTS access point connection settingsfor your device are configured properly. For moreinformation about the settings, contact your serviceprovider.Share live video or video clipsDuring an active voice call, select Options > Sharevideo.1. To share live video during the call, select Live video.To share a video clip, select Video clip and the clip youwant to share.You may need to convert the video clip into a suitableformat to be able to share it. If your device notifies youthat the video clip must be converted, select OK. Yourdevice must have a video editor for the conversion towork.2. If the recipient has several SIP addresses or phonenumbers including the country code saved in Contacts,select the desired address or number.
