You obtain theaccess point name from yournetwork operator or serviceprovider.• IP address - Key in the address,press for a dot, and press OK.You obtain the IP address fromyour network operator or serviceprovider.• Authentication type - SelectSecure or Normal.• Login type - Select Manual orAutomatic. If you selectAutomatic, the login type usesthe user name and passwordkeyed in the following settings.If you select Manual, the logininformation is required whenestablishing a connection.• User name - Key in the username and press OK.• Password - Key in the passwordand press OK.Making a connection to aWAP serviceFirstly, make sure that the servicesettings of the WAP service youwant to use are activated. Toactivate the settings:• Press Menu, and select Servicesand Settings. Select Activeservice settings and scroll to theset you want to activate andpress Activate.Secondly, make a connection to theWAP service. There are three ways toconnect:• Open the homepage of the WAPservice:Press Menu, and select Servicesand Home.Tip: To quickly open thehomepage, press and holdin standby mode.OR• Select a bookmark of the WAPservice:Press Menu, and select Services,Bookmarks, and select abookmark.If the bookmark does not workwith the current active servicesettings, activate another set ofservice settings and try again.OR
