Tocheck that you are getting an original Nokia battery,purchase it from an authorized Nokia dealer, look forthe Nokia Original Enhancements logo on thepackaging, and inspect the hologram label using thefollowing steps:Successful completion of the four steps is not a totalassurance of the authenticity of the battery. If you haveany reason to believe that your battery is not anauthentic, original Nokia battery, you should refrainfrom using it, and take it to the nearest authorizedNokia service point or dealer for assistance. Yourauthorized Nokia service point or dealer will inspect thebattery for authenticity. If authenticity cannot beverified, return the battery to the place of purchase.Authenticate hologram1. When looking at the hologramon the label, you should see theNokia connecting handssymbol from one angle and theNokia Original Enhancementslogo when looking fromanother angle.2. When you angle the hologramleft, right, down, and up, youshould see 1, 2, 3, and 4 dotson each side respectively.3. Scratch the side of the label toreveal a 20-digit code, forexample,12345678919876543210.Turn the battery so that thenumbers are facing upwards.The 20-digit code readsstarting from the number atthe top row followed by thebottom row.4.
