Activation keysSelect > Tools > Actv. keys.Some media files, such as images, music, or video clips,are protected by digital usage rights. The activationkeys for such files may allow or restrict their usage. Forexample, with some activation keys you may listen toa music track only a limited number of times. Duringone playback session you may rewind, fast-forward, orpause the track, but once you stop it, you have used oneof the instances allowed.To view your activation keys by type, select Valid keys,Invalid keys, or Not in use.To view the key details, select Options > Key details.To activate a key, go to the main view of the activationkeys, and select Invalid keys > Options > Getactivation key. Establish a network connection at theprompt, and you are directed to a web site where youcan purchase rights to the media.To remove file rights, open the valid keys tab or the keysnot in use tab, scroll to the desired file, and selectOptions > Delete. If there are several rights related tothe same media file, all the rights are deleted.The group key view displays all of the files related to agroup right. If you have downloaded multiple mediafiles with the same rights, they are all displayed in thisview. You can open the group view from either the validkeys or invalid keys tabs. To access these files, open thegroup rights folder.To rename a group, select Options > Rename. Enter thenew name to change the name of the group rights.Data synchronizationSelect > Tools > Sync.With Sync, you can synchronize your contacts, calendarentries, notes, or mailboxes with correspondingapplications on a compatible computer or remoteinternet server. Your synchronization settings are savedin a synchronization profile. The Sync application usesSyncML technology for remote synchronization. Forinformation on SyncML compatibility, contact thesupplier of the applications with which you want tosynchronize your device.You may receive the synchronization settings as amessage from your service provider. The availableapplications you can synchronize may vary. Contactyour service provider for more information.Create a synchronization profileTo create a profile, select Options > New sync profileand assign a name for the profile, select theapplications to synchronize with the profile, and specifythe needed connection settings. Contact your serviceprovider for details.Select applications to synchronize1. To select the applications to synchronize with asynchronization profile, select Options > Edit syncprofile > Applications.2.
