Nokia utilizes the approvedindustry standards for memory cards but not all otherbrands may function correctly or be fully compatible withthis device.Use only compatible miniSD cards with this device. Othermemory cards, such as Reduced Size MultiMediaCards, donot fit in the memory card slot and are not compatiblewith this device. Using an incompatible memory card maydamage the memory card as well as the device, and datastored on the incompatible card may be corrupted.Press , and select Tools > Memory. You can use acompatible miniSD card as extra storage space and forbacking up the information in the device memory.To back up information from the device memory to acompatible memory card, select Options > Backup phonemem.To restore information from the compatible memory cardto the device memory, select Options > Restore fromcard.To eject the memory card, press , and select Removemem. card.Important: Do not remove the memory card in themiddle of an operation when the card is being accessed.Removing the card in the middle of an operation maydamage the memory card as well as the device, and datastored on the card may be corrupted.Set a passwordTo set a password to protect your memory card, selectOptions >Set password. You can use up to 8 characters inthe password.To change the password, select Options > Changepassword.To remove the password, select Options > Removepassword.
