Personalize your device89When you choose a tone, Tone downloads (networkservice) opens a list of bookmarks. You can select abookmark and start connection to a Web page todownload tones.If you want the caller’s name to be said when your devicerings, select Options > Customize, and set Say caller'sname to On. The caller’s name must be saved in Contacts.To create a new profile, select Options > Create new.Offline profileThe Offline profile lets you use the device withoutconnecting to the wireless network. When you activate theOffline profile, the connection to the wireless network isturned off, as indicated by in the signal strengthindicator area. All wireless RF signals to and from thedevice are prevented. If you try to send messages, they areplaced in the outbox to be sent later.Warning: In the offline profile you cannot make (orreceive) any calls, except make calls to certainemergency numbers, or use other features that requirenetwork coverage. To make calls, you must first activatethe phone function by changing profiles. If the devicehas been locked, enter the lock code.To leave the Offline profile, press the power key, and selectanother profile. The device re-enables wirelesstransmissions (providing there is sufficient signalstrength). If Bluetooth connectivity is activated beforeentering the Offline profile, it will be deactivated.Bluetooth connectivity is automatically reactivated afterleaving the Offline profile. See ‘Settings’, p. 77.3-D tonesPress , and select Applications > 3-D tones. With 3-D tones you can enable three-dimensional sound effectsfor ringing tones. Not all ringing tones support 3-Deffects.To enable the 3-D effects, select 3-D ringing toneeffects > On. To change the ringing tone, scroll to theringing tone that is displayed, press , and select thedesired ringing tone.To change the 3–D effect that is applied to the ringingtone, select Sound trajectory and the desired effect. Tomodify the effect, select from the following settings:Trajectory speed—Select the speed at which sound movesfrom one direction to another. This setting is not availablefor all ringing tones.Reverberation—To adjust the amount of echo, select thedesired effect in the list.
