22 Chapter 1 Introduction208296-COn/Off/BS buttonsYou can use the On, Off, and BS buttons on the front panel of the UPS module inthe BayStack 10 PSU to turn power on or off, or to disable the alarm.• Pressing the On button for a minimum of 3 seconds turns on power to thefans, modules, and battery charger.• Pressing the On and Off buttons for a minimum of 3 seconds simultaneouslyturns off the unit. This feature prevents you from turning off the unitaccidentally.• The alarm sounds when any error listed in Table 3 occurs. Read the LED todetermine which error code is displayed, and refer to the table to identify thespecific error. Press the BS (buzzer shutdown) button for up to 3 seconds toturn the alarm off.Rear panelThe rear panel of the BayStack 10 PSU chassis contains the following sections:• Four slots for the RPS modules are provided in the right section.The powersupply modules fit into these slots, in any combination. Available powersupply modules are:— 136 W AC/DC Power Supply Module— 200 W AC/DC Power Supply Module• Components in the left section depend on whether you are installing acontroller module or a UPS.Note: The On, Off, and BS buttons are for the UPS only. The RPS units(power supplies) and its fans are connected directly to utility power. Youdo not have to disconnect utility power to install/remove a power supplyunit in the back because these are hot-swappable.
