Accessing the IP Phone 1140E51Timed logoutWhen you set a login time other than permanent, the IP Phone 1140Eprompts you when the login time expires.Timed logout while phone is idleWhen the login time expires and the phone is idle (not on a call), you cando one of the following at the prompt:• Press the Yes Context-sensitive soft key to logout immediately.• Press the No Context-sensitive soft key to switch to permanent login.• Press the Quit or Release/Goodbye key to logout immediately.If you do not respond, the prompt times out in 45 seconds and the phonelogs out.If you answer a call during the logout prompt, the login switches topermanent login.Timed logout while on a callWhen the login time expires while on a call, you can do one of thefollowing at the prompt:• Press the Yes Context-sensitive soft key to log out immediately.• Press the No Context-sensitive soft key to switch to permanent login.• Press the Quit key to dismiss the log out prompt and switch topermanent login.BackCancel— Press the Back Context-sensitivesoft key to return to the permanentlogin screen.— Press the Cancel Context-sensitivesoft key to return to the first loginscreen.
