The Dual-slot charger has a USB port.Firmware for the WLAN Handset 6100 SeriesUnlike previous generations of WLAN handsets, the WLAN Handset 6100Series has its own dedicated software, firmware load version 115.xyz.The WLAN Handset 6100 Series handset software is stored in flashmemory and can be upgraded in two different ways:• Over-the-air transfer of firmware updates from a designated TFTPserver to the wireless handsets:The download function in the wireless handset checks the firmwareversion every time the wireless handset is turned on. If there is anydifference in the firmware version, the wireless handset immediatelybegins to download the update.If the TFTP Server cannot be reached at the time the wireless handsetis powered on, resets, or comes back into a WLAN service area, thewireless handset tries a few times to contact the TFTP Server, afterwhich it reverts to using the existing firmware.• Direct download from a PC via USB port:When the handset is docked in the dual charger cradle, softwareimages can be downloaded into the phone.
