Dropping an electronic component can causeserious damage.■ Do not disconnect or remove parts other than those specified in the procedure.■ Do not touch I/O connector pins.■ All screws are Phillips-head, unless otherwise specified.■ On completion of any assembly or reassembly, perform a power-on test. If a faultoccurs, verify that the assembly or reassembly was performed correctly. If theproblem persists, see “Solving Problems” on page 264.Static PrecautionsAn electrostatic discharge (ESD) can damage disk drives, option boards, and othercomponents. You can provide some ESD protection by wearing an anti-static wriststrap attached to chassis ground when handling system components.Electronic devices can be easily damaged by static electricity.
