Getting to Know the Océ VarioPrint® 2100/2110 45The information in the media sectionIntroductionInformation for operators, key operatorsThe media section of the main screen displays information about the media inthe paper trays. The information displayed is the programmed media name andthe detected size and orientation in the paper trays. This information can be intwo colors, orange and black.The colors mean the following:■ Black The size of the programmed media equals the size detected in thepaper tray■ Orange The size of the programmed media does not equal the size detectedin the paper tray.You can set the media characteristics in the 'Media catalog'. Here you mustenter the media names, sizes and orientations.The link between a certain media type and the paper tray is made in the 'Papermanager'. When you fill a paper tray, you can set the media type here (see ëSetthe needed media typeí on page 58). The 'Paper manager' displays the listentered in the 'Media catalog'. Media that matches the size detected for a papertray is displayed in black. The media types of the 'Media catalog' that do notmatch the size detected for that paper tray are displayed in orange. You canselect a media type from the displayed list for each paper tray.Note: When the programmed media does not match the detected size, amismatch is displayed. The media name turns orange. There is one exception.If the programmed media is oversize media, the system does not display amismatch.
