Setting Up the PS Visual Driver (Windows) 675/60BW-1 6-526.9 Specifying the Font Tab SettingsSpecifying SettingsYou can replace the TrueType fonts used in Windows with the printer fontsof this machine.0 Using the printer fonts will shorten the printing time, however, there maybe a difference in the screen display and the print results.1 For Windows XP/Server 2003/XP x64/Server 2003 x64, click the [Start],and then click “Printers and Faxes”.– For Windows NT 4.0/2000, click the [Start], point to “Settings”, andthen click “Printers”.2 Right-click the “Generic 75/60BW-1 PS” icon, and then click “Proper-ties”.3 Click the Font tab.4 Selects TrueType(Type 42), Bitmap(Type 3) or Adobe(Type 1) as themethod of sending TrueType fonts to the printer in the “Send To PrinterAs”.5 Selects Points, 1/100inch or Pixels in the “Threshold Units”.6 Set the “Threshold”.7 Select the TrueType font that you want to replace.8 From the “Printer Font to Use” drop-down list, select the printer font toreplace the TrueType font.
