5. Attach the Finisher to the printer.a. Close the Staple Cover (2).b. Push the Finisher towards theprinter until it clicks into posi-tion.c. Return the Decurler Lever (3) tothe horizontal position.Note 1:If the Decurler Lever (3) is notreturned to the horizontalposition, it may cause thepaper to jam.Note 2:If the Stapler Cartridge hasnot been properly fitted, thefollowing error message willoccur at the printer controlpanel:CHECK STAPLERCARTRIDGE471: STAPLER CARTRIDGE MISSINGRemoving the punch chipsWhen the punch Chip Box is almost full and requires to beemptied, the following message appears at the printer controlpanel:PUNCH CHIP OVERFLOWContinue as follows:1. Detach the FinisherWARNING:If the Finisher Guide (2) is hot, give it time to cool beforeproceeding.a. Rotate the Decurler Lever (1) topoint downwards.b.
