EnglishBasic Operations 37Receiving Faxes in MemoryYour fax machine will automatically receive mes-sages into memory (and not immediately print them)in a few different situations.No Paper ReceptionWhen your fax machine has run out of paper, aMSG. IN MEMORY, REPLACE PAPER message willappear on the display. Even when your fax machineruns out of paper, it will continue to receive faxes inmemory.1 Your fax machine will automatically print out anymessages received in memory when the paper isreplaced and you press the Stop key.No Toner ReceptionWhen your fax machine is running low on toner, itwill display a TONER LOW, REPLACE TONER CART.message, and can be programmed by your servicerepresentative to receive faxes into memory (ratherthan risk printing an unreadable message). If yourfax machine has received a message in memorybecause toner is low, MSG. IN MEMORY will appearon the display.To print out a message stored in memory whentoner is running low, follow the instructions below.1 Press the Select Function key.2 Press the 10/Message Print From Memory OneTouch key. The display will show 1:PRINT MEMORYMSG?3 Press the Yes ß key. The stored message will beginprinting.Tip: Even if you see a TONER LOW message on your faxmachine, you may be able to use the 10/Message PrintFrom Memory One Touch key to continue printingfaxes, but the print quality cannot be guaranteed.Replace your toner cartridge as soon as possible.Cancelling Messages Stored in MemoryIt is also possible to erase messages received inmemory without printing them.1 After you have followed the instructions to print outmessages stored in memory, the display will showMSG. IN MEMORY, PRINTING.2 To erase the message instead of printing it, press theStop key.
