64Sending relay broadcastsBefore sending documents in a relay broadcast operation, the 4-digit relaypassword of the relay station and 2-digit identification numbers of theremote stations (or groups of remote stations) must be obtained. Aftermaking a relay transmission, the key relay station can send a reportconfirming the completion of the broadcast. This report is sent to the loca-tion specified by the telephone number programmed in the RELAYREPORT NO. function. For this machine to receive the report, programits telephone number as the relay report number.Initiating relay broadcasts1. Load the document(s).2. Press MENU/EXIT to enter the menu.3. Press T to select RELAY INITIATE TX, press ENTER or X.4. Enter the password (4-digit number) of a key relay station and pressENTER.5. Enter the two digit number of the remote station and press ENTER.6. Enter the desired location using the Speed Dial number or numerickeypad and press START.7. The machine will scan the document(s) into memory and begin fax-ing to the key relay station.8. If all memory is used, the machine will offer to send pages scannedso far.9.
