The HTTP address can be the IPaddress, the System Name if the print server hasbeen configured to use WINS, or the DNS name ifregistered with a DNS server.Note: It is not currently possible to discover allOkiLAN products from a Web browser. If you needto create a list of all available OkiLAN productsand their addresses, refer to the Network PrintServer Discovery section for instruction.Note: As a layer of security, the TCP port numberthat the device uses to communicate with brows-ers, called the HTTP port, can be modified from adefault of 80. If the port is modified, the HTTPaddress put in the browser must include the portnumber, for example, http://vpn.company.com:99/would be entered for port 99. Refer to the WebAdmin Configuration section for details. SomeTCP or UDP ports may be reserved for specificpurposes, so be careful when selecting a differentport number.A successful connection will display the print serverhome page.
