At the highest value,even the faintest sound will activate recording.• The VCVA actuation level can be adjustedaccording to the ambient (background) noise.C Start level (moves to theright/left according to theset level)• The start/stop actuation level also variesdepending on the selected microphonesensitivity mode (☞ P.37).• To ensure successful recordings, prior testing andadjustment of the start/stop actuation level isrecommended.a VCVA indicatorb Level meter (variesaccording to the soundvolume being recorded)• When the sound volume is lower than thepreset actuation sound level, recordingautomatically stops after 1 secondapproximately, and [Standby] flashes onthe display. The record indicator light turnson when recording starts and flashes whenrecording pauses.
