464ENODMS and DSS Player softwareManaging files on your PCThe ODMS (Windows) and DSS Player (Macintosh)software is a fully featured software tool thatprovides a simple to use but sophisticatedmethod for managing your recordings. Someof the features of the ODMS and DSS Playersoftware are:• Customize functions on the recorder (ODMS only).• Automatic start-up of the application byconnecting the device.• Automatic download of Dictation files byconnecting the device.• Backs up downloaded Dictation files (ODMS only).• Automatic transmission of downloaded Dictationfiles to addresses specified through e-mail andFTP (ODMS only).• Automatic transmission of transcribed documentsthrough e-mail and FTP, as well as Dictation filesand link management (ODMS only).• Change the recorder’s menu settings.• Direct recording and editing of existing Dictationfiles through Voice recorder’s button and slideoperation.• Editing Instruction Comments and Verbalcomments (ODMS only).• Encrypt Dictation files within the folder byencrypting the folder itself (ODMS only).Make sure that your computer meets the minimumrequirements listed below.
