One way involvesusing the buttons on the wireless remote control or controller;the other way involves using the Camera menu or Websetting.The gain can be adjusted more precisely using the Cameramenu or Web setting.For further details, refer to the [Gain] item on page 39 andpage 64. When adjusting the gain, the light quantity maychange suddenly (causing the image output to besubjected to a shock).NoteWhen performing the operationsusing the wireless remote control1 Press the [OFF], [LOW] or [HI] button.These buttons enable the gain increase to be selected inthree steps.[LOW] is used to select 9 dB; [HI] is used to select 18 dB.2 If necessary, press the [AUTO] button in orderto return the gain to the automatic adjustment(AGC).When performing the operations using the controllerWhen the AW-RP655 is connected:1 Press the [GAIN] button to turn off its lamp, andthen switch to manual adjustment.The preset gain increase amount is now selected.For further details on the gain increase amount setting,refer to the Operating Instructions of the AW-RP655.2 If necessary, press the [GAIN] button and turnon its lamp in order to return the gain to theautomatic adjustment (AGC).When the AW-RP555 is connected:1 Press the [GAIN] button to turn off its lamp.Each time this button is pressed, one of the three gainincrease amounts can be selected in sequence.The current status is displayed as follows.[MANU][L] lamp[MANU][H] lamp[GAIN]button0 dB Off Off OffLOW Lit Off OffHIGH Off Lit OffAUTO Off Off LitOther Lit Lit Off2 If necessary, press the [GAIN] button severaltimes and turn on its lamp in order to return thegain to the automatic adjustment (AGC).When the AW-RP50 is connected:Refer to the Operating Instructions of the controller.In any case, the maximum gain of the automatic adjustmentcan be set by the camera menu or Web setting.For further details, refer to the [AGC Max Gain] item onpage 39 and page 64.
