11b DC 12V IN socketThe power from the main unit is supplied to this socket.The socket is connected to the CONTROL PANELPOWER OUT socket on the main unit using theconnecting cable (10 meters) supplied.If the connection distance exceeds 10 meters, connectthe AW-PS505 AC adapter (optional accessory).c CONTROL OUT connectorThe control signals are output from this connector to themain unit. Use the connecting cable (10 meters) suppliedto connect the connector to the CONTROL IN TOCONTROL PANEL [1] to [3] connectors on the main unit.If the connection distance exceeds 10 meters, use astraight cable equivalent to 10BaseT (UTP category 5) tomake the connection. The connection distance can beextended up to 1,000 meters.When more than one control panel is to be connected tothe main unit, make sure that the total length of all thecables does not exceed 1,000 meters.d TERMINATION switchThis is the control signal termination switch.O When one control panel is connected to the main unit,set both this switch and the TERMINATION switch onthe main unit to the ON position.O When two control panels are connected to the mainunit, set this switch on both panels to the ON position,and set the TERMINATION switch on the main unit tothe OFF position.O When three control panels are connected to the mainunit, set the switch on the control panel with theshortest connecting cable to the main unit and theTERMINATION switch on the main unit to the OFFposition, and set the switches on the other two controlpanels to the ON position.e ID switchThis is used to set the ID numbers of the control panels.Do not set the same ID number when more than onecontrol panel is to be connected to the main unit.f SERVICE connectorThis connector is used for maintenance purposes.Do not connect anything to it.Parts and their functions$ Control panelbcdef
