5.1 Mailbox RecordingDescriptionWhen an incoming call is received by an extension or an Extension Group, and if there is no answer or theline is busy for a preset time, this function allows conversations forwarded to Voice Mail to be recorded inthe mailbox, if the mailbox is available.ConditionConditions NoteThe recording time for the entire System is as follows:Recording time: 120 minutesThe recording time includePersonal Greetings, recordedmessages and OutgoingMessages (OGM).The maximum number of recordings and the recording time can beset for each extension through Web Maintenance Console:• Recording Number: 10 messages (default)• Recording Time (s): 60 seconds (default)If Recording Number is set to 0,a caller cannot record amessage.The maximum number of recordings and the recording time of eachExtension Group is as follows:Number of recordings: Follows the extension setting registered atthe head of the Extension Group.Recording time: Follows the extension setting registered at the headof the Extension Group.The Number of mailboxes is 24 (Maximum number of extensions) A mailbox is attached to eachextension (Except a floatingextension). If the extensionnumber is changed, the recordedmessage within the mailbox willbe cleared.The maximum length of Personal Greeting message is 30 seconds.Forwarded calls to the mailbox targeted for the message recordingare as follows:• Call Forwarding (FWD All, FWD Busy, FWD NA) from Extension.• Call Forwarding (FWD ALL, FWD Busy, FWD NA) From ExtensionGroup.Refer to 3.1.9 Call Forwarding(FWD)When the call is forwarded to Voice Mail, the mailboxes targeted forrecording are as follows:• When the call is forwarded from an extension, the voice isrecorded to the mailbox for the forwarded extension.• When the call is forwarded from an Extension Group, the voice isrecorded to the mailbox for the first member extension in theforwarding Extension Group.The call will be disconnected ifalready exceeding the number ofmessages.5.1 Mailbox Recording74 Feature Manual
