VoicemailProblem Cause/solution“Voicemail msg. viaphone co.” is shown on thehandset display.How do I remove this messagefrom the display?R This notification is displayed when your phone serviceprovider’s voicemail service (not the unit’s answeringsystem) has recorded a message for you. Typically youcan remove this notification from the display by listeningto the message. To listen to the message, dial thevoicemail number provided by your phone serviceprovider (for most cases, this will be your own phonenumber), and follow the voice instructions. Depending onyour phone service provider, you may need to remove allmessages from your voice mailbox to remove thenotification. You can also remove this notification bypressing and holding # until the unit beeps.Liquid damageProblem Cause/solutionLiquid or other form of moisturehas entered the handset/baseunit.R Disconnect the AC adaptor and telephone line cord fromthe base unit. Remove the batteries from the handset andleave to dry for at least 3 days. After the handset/baseunit are completely dry, reconnect the AC adaptor andtelephone line cord. Insert the batteries and charge fullybefore use.
