Ask your SystemAdministrator.• Check if the jacks of the VPSare connected to the properjacks of the PBX (see 1.2Voice Mail Integration).• Check the System Program[130] of the KX-TA series orKX-TE series to see if theprogramming agrees with theactual connection.• Check the "1-4 VPS (DPT)Port Assignment" screen ofthe KX-TD500, or SystemProgram [117] or [126] of otherKX-TD series PBXs, or the"Groups-VM(DPT) Group-UnitSetting" and "Configuration-Extension Port" screens ofKX-TDA series PBXs that useDPT Integration to see if theprogramming agrees with theactual connection.Unable to utilise some ofthe DPT Integrationfeatures, even though DPTIntegration has beenestablished properly.• Your PBX cannot support thefeature.• The software version of yourPBX is lower than required.• Consult your dealer.The VPS does not operate. • Bad printed circuit board.• Bad connection with PBX.• Incomplete card insertion.• Change the printed circuitboard.• Check the connectionbetween the VPS and PBX.• Insert the card firmly into thecard slot.Dialling is not registered. • A pulse telephone is beingused by mistake.• Improper setting ofintegration mode.• Change to a touch tonetelephone.• Adjust the integration modeproperly between the VPS andyour PBX (see "IntegrationMode" in 2.5.4 Parameters inthe Programming Manual).
