3.1 Phone User Interface ProgrammingThis section provides information about the features that can be configured directly from the unit, but that arenot mentioned in the Operating Instructions.For details about the other available features, settings and operations on the phone user interface, refer to theOperating Instructions on the Panasonic Web site (® see Introduction).3.1.1 Reset Web ID/PasswordReset Web ID/Password resets all the IDs and passwords required for users and administrators to access theWeb user interface (® see Access Levels (IDs and Passwords) in 4.2.3 Before Accessing the Web UserInterface) to their factory defaults. You can perform this operation from the unit.To perform Reset Web ID/Password1. Press on the Home screen, and then tap [Settings].2. Tap [About phone].3. Press and hold .4. When the keyboard is displayed, enter [#][7][3][9], and then press .5. Tap [OK] to confirm the reset.Notice• For security reasons, it is recommended that the passwords are set again immediately (® see4.5.2 Administrator Password or 4.5.3 Change User Password).3.1.2 Password for the Unit’s Administrator MenuYou need a login password to access the [Administration] menu on the unit. In this menu, the administratorcan configure the following settings:• Ethernet port settings• Import Configuration file• Applications• Update Firmware• Administrator passwordNotice• You should manage passwords carefully, and change them regularly.The unit’s administrator password is the same as the administrator password for Web user interfaceprogramming and the default is also the same.
