VCR Mode-59-Index Search FunctionsTo facilitate searching of desired scene, thisMovie Camera automatically records indexsignals during recording, as explained in thefollowing.Photoshot Index SignalThese signals are automatically recordedwhenever still pictures are taken in PhotoshotMode. (-49-) Photoshot Index Signals are notrecorded on still pictures recorded inContinuous Photoshot Mode.Scene Index SignalScene Index Signals are automatically recordedwhen you start recording after inserting aCassette.≥If [SCENEINDEX] of [RECORDING SETUP]Sub-Menu on the [CAMERA FUNCTIONS]Main-Menu is set to [2HOUR], an index signalis recorded when recording is restarted afteran elapse of 2 hours or longer. If it is set to[DAY], an index signal is recorded whenrecording is restarted after the date haschanged since the last recording.
