55ª Adding a Title≥When the [PICTURE/MPEG4/VOICE] Selector is set to[MPEG4] or [VOICE], Title In Function is not possible.≥If the [PICTURE SIZE] is set to [1568k1152] and [TAPE/CARD] Selector is set to [CARD], title cannot be displayed.≥When a title is displayed in VCR Mode, the title is notoutput from the DV Terminal or Digital Still PictureTerminal.≥If you press the [TITLE] Button, the last original title isdisplayed. When an original title is not created, the presettitle is displayed.≥The Multi Picture Mode cannot be used once the title isinserted.≥Original titles are added after the preset titles.≥The Title Function and Digital Effects cannot be usedsimultaneously.ª Lock Setting≥The Lock Setting carried out by this Movie Camera is onlyeffective for this Movie Camera.≥The SD Memory Card has a write protection switch on it. Ifthe switch is moved to the [LOCK] side, you cannot write toor format the Card. If it is moved back, you can.ª DPOF≥The number of prints can be set from 0 to 99.≥Perform the DPOF Settings with your own Movie Camerain use.≥Verifying the DPOF Settings may take a little time. Waituntil the [ACCESS] Lamp goes out.ª Using a Card in a Personal Computer≥To erase pictures that you recorded on the Card by usingthe Movie Camera, be sure to erase them on the MovieCamera, not on the computer.≥Using the optional DV Editing Software (Motion DVSTUDIO) for Windows (VW-DTM20/21/22), variety ofvisual effects can be added and title can be created.≥You may not be able to properly play back or search theimages on the Movie Camera after editing the recordeddata or changing the image data on a personal computer.≥The image data files recorded on the Card with this MovieCamera conform to the DCF (Design Rules for CameraFiles Systems universal standard) stipulated by JEITA(Japan Electronics and Information Technology IndustriesAssociation).≥Moving Picture format (MPEG4) that can be played backon this device is ASF. (Depending on the file, it may not beable to be played back even if it is in ASF format.)Constructing a Folder when the Card is used witha PC≥When a Card with data recorded on it is inserted into apersonal computer, folders will be displayed as in thefigure.[100cdpfp]: The images (100-0001.jpg, etc.) in this folderare recorded in the JPEG format.[Misc]: Files in which DPOF Data has been set tothe image are in this.[Title]: This contains the data of the preset titles(Pre00001.ttl) and original titles(Usr00001.jpg, Usr00001.ttl, etc.).[PRL001]: MPEG4 moving picture is recorded in ASFformat (MOL00001.ASF etc.). It can beplayed back with Windows Media Player(ver.6.4 and later). Because of small size,this File is well suited for transmitting datathrough telephone line etc.. To play backmoving picture with Windows Media Player,select a file and double click. Necessarysoftware is automatically downloaded andstarts playing back. (Internet connection isrequired).≥[DCIM], [IM01CDPF], [PRIVATE], [VTF], [SD_VIDEO],[SD_VOICE] etc. are necessary items in the folderstructure. They have nothing to do with actual operations.≥In the Card Mode, the Movie Camera automatically savesfile numbers (100-0001.jpg, etc.) along with the images.The file numbers are recorded with each image as aconsecutive number.≥In the [SD_VC100] folder, the Voice data (Mob001.vmletc.) is recorded. It, however, cannot be played back onPersonal Computer.≥The "SD_VOICE" folder and the Voice files in the folder areset as hidden. Depending on the settings of your personalcomputer, this hidden folder and these hidden files mightnot appear in Windows Explorer or the "My Computer"screen.≥The memory capacity indicated on the SD Card labelcorresponds to the total amount of the capacity to protectand manage the copyright and of the capacity available asa conventional memory for a Movie Camera, PersonalComputer or others. Capacity that can be used asconventional memory:8MB Card: about 6,800,000 bytesThe supplied SD Memory Card contains Preset title so theactual capacity may be smaller.
