However, when the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [OPERATION SETTING] → [OPERATINGMODE] is set to [LONG LIFE1], [LONG LIFE2], or [LONG LIFE3], the operating environment temperature should be between 0 °C (32 °F) and 45 °C(113 °F), and when the Smoke Cut Filter is used, it should be between 0 °C (32 °F) and 40 °C (104 °F), regardless of the altitude. When the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [OPERATION SETTING] → [OPERATING MODE] is set to [LONG LIFE1], [LONG LIFE2], or [LONGLIFE3], the projector cannot be used at an altitude of 2 700 m (8 858') or higher above sea level. When the Smoke Cut Filter is used, the projectorcannot be used at an altitude of 1 400 m (4 593') or higher above sea level.*2 Maintenance of the Smoke Cut Filter is not possible. Replace with new one.Notef If the temperature indicator is still lit or blinking after taking the measures, ask your dealer for repair.Filter indicator r When the air filter unit/Replacement Filter Unit (Model No.: ET‑EMF330) is attachedIndicator status Status SolutionLighting in redf The filter is clogged.f The runtime of the filter exceeds therecommended time to replace thefilter.f The temperature around or outsidethe projector is abnormally high.f Perform maintenance or replacement of the filter in the following cases.g The filter is dirty.g The recommended time to replace the filter has been exceeded.f Remove any objects if they are blocking the air intake/exhaust port.f Do not use the projector at an altitude of 4 200 m (13 780')*1 or higherabove sea level.Blinking in redf The air filter unit is not attached.f The Long Life Filter Unit or SmokeCut Filter is not attached.f Attach the air filter unit/Replacement Filter Unit.*1 When the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [OPERATION SETTING] → [OPERATING MODE] is set to [LONG LIFE1], [LONG LIFE2], or [LONGLIFE3], the projector cannot be used at an altitude of 2 700 m (8 858') or higher above sea level.r When the Long Life Filter Unit (Model No.: ET-EMFU330) is attachedENGLISH - 193Light source indicators /Indicator status Status SolutionLighting in redf Some of the elements of the lightsource are defective and the lightoutput has decreased.f Turn the switch to , and turn on thepower again.Blinking in red(1 time)f The light source is turned off sincethe projection lens cannot bedetected.f Turn off the power and mount the projection lens again.f Turn the switch to , and turn on thepower again.Blinking in red(2 times) f The light source does not light up,or the light source turns off while theprojector is in use.f Turn the switch to , and turn on thepower again.Blinking in red(3 times)Notef If the light source indicators / are still lit or blinking after taking the measures, set the switch to, and ask your dealer for repairs.f The light source indicator corresponding to the light source being lit will light up in green if the projector is in projection mode and there is noindication of problem by lighting or blinking in red.
