66 BW ModeYou can change the color mode of camera images fromcolor to black and white. This function is activated toimprove the camera sensitivity when monitoring a darkplace.Note: Refer to the operating instructions of camera fordetails on auto mode.1. Display “BW Mode” sub menu. Press one of the F1 to F4 buttons.BW mode will be activated.Available buttons and functionsF1: OnChanges the camera image from color to black andwhite.F2: OffChanges the camera image from black and white tocolor .F3: Auto1Activates Auto 1 mode. (The camera selects blackand white mode if the picture is dark, or color modeif the picture is bright enough.)F4: Auto2Activates Auto 2 mode. (The camera detects thelight source type to prevent malfunction. This set-ting is applicable when using a near-infrared lightsource in a dark place.)Notes:• The camera detects light source based on the informa-tion the CCD image pickup element receives. If anobject is continuously moving or has the same color asthe background, the object may not be properly recog-nized. When activating Auto 2 mode, make sure thewavelength of light source is 800 nm or more.• If the available parameters for selected camera are ON,OFF, and AUTO, you can activate AUTO by pressingthe F3 button.To recover the color modePress the F2 button.
