Specifies the IP address for the communication port when it is configured as the SNMPmanagement link. The IP address is only in effect when the Com Use configuration option is set to SNMP or Daisy.Edit – Allows you to edit or display the IP address for the communication port.Clear – Allows you to clear the IP address for the communication port.Com NetMask:Next Edit Clear PrevSubnet Mask for the Communication Port. Specifies the subnet mask needed to access the unit when the communicationport is configured as the SNMP management link. The subnet mask is only in effect when the Com Use configurationoption is set to SNMP or Daisy.Edit – Allows you to edit and/or display the subnet mask for the communication port.Clear – Allows you to clear the subnet mask for the communication port. The subnet mask is set to 000.000.000.000. Ifthe subnet mask is 000.000.000.000, the IP protocol creates a default subnet mask based on the class of the IP address(Class A: 255.000.000.000, Class B: 255.255.000.000, or Class C: 255.255.255.000).Com Link: PPPNext PPP SLIP PrevCom Port Link Layer Protocol. Specifies the link layer protocol for the communication port when it is configured as theSNMP management link. This protocol is only in effect when the Com Use configuration option is set to SNMP.PPP – Specifies PPP as the link layer protocol for the SNMP management link on the communication port.SLIP – Specifies SLIP as the link layer protocol for the SNMP management link on the communication port. Thecommunication port must be configured for asynchronous operation to support SLIP. This selection does not appear if theCom Use configuration option is set to Daisy.
